OP - Outpatient Program

An OP - Outpatient Program is a step down level of care from our IOP - Intensive Outpatient Program. Strive Health & Wellness' OP - Outpatient Program offers numerous individualized treatment options such as individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and medication management. Strive Health & Wellness' OP - Outpatient Program offers three hours of group therapy per week followed by individual therapy sessions with our primary therapist.

Strive Health & Wellness continues to offer support at this level of care to help maintain the recovery foundation that has been built through our cutting edge treatment process. This is a key step in the recovery process which helps avoid relapse and allows you to further engage with the recovery community. Strive Health & Wellness also helps connect you with local support groups and sober activities to ensure continued success and avoiding potential triggers which can lead to relapse.

OP - Outpatient Program FAQS

Outpatient treatment is more geared toward individualized therapy sessions. Our outpatient level of care also includes group therapy sessions. Everyone’s recovery is different, and this is why we believe in creating a strong individualized treatment plan for outpatient.

The duration of outpatient treatment will vary based on the individuals needs and progress in treatment. Typically Outpatient can last several months and can help with long term care for mental health and substance use disorders.

The effectiveness of outpatient treatment depends on many factors. Typically it involves the level of willingness and commitment on the individuals part and how they utilize the resources. Outpatient treatment can be very effective when combined with appropriate local support systems and aftercare planning.

Individuals are provided with a thorough aftercare plan that can include ongoing counseling, local support groups, and Strive’s free Alumni support group. Alumni support is crucial and can help keep an individual stay engaged with our program long after they have received services. This helps connect other alumni by creating a strong support network of peers that build each other’s recovery based on their shared experience and sobriety.
